GIDION'S KNOT Comes to Theater On The Edge Local actors Kyrstal Glover and Natalie Bulajic will star in Johnna Adams' 2012 drama Gidion's Knot. Directed by Pam Harbaugh, Gidion's Knot will play for a limited run from June 16 - July 8, 2018 at the emerging Theater On The Edge.

Gidion's Knot was originally produced at the Contemporary American Theater Festival in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, in July 2012.

Over the course of a parent/teacher conference, a grieving mother (Natalie Bulajic) and an emotionally overwhelmed primary school teacher (Krystal Glover) have a fraught conversation about the mother's troubled and suspended son, Gidion. Gidion may have been bullied severely-or he may have been an abuser.

As his story is slowly uncovered, the women try to reconstruct a satisfying explanation for Gidion's act and come to terms with excruciating feelings of culpability.

Theater On The Edge is known for its hyper-realistic set design and in-depth performances, and received much acclaim for its previous productions of American Buffalo, Tape, Superior Donuts, and most recently, Orphans and Proof.

Krystal Glover says, "I am so thrilled to be working and learning from the incredible team at Theater On The Edge! Gidion's Knot has deeply impacted me from my very first time reading it, and I'm so grateful to be able to bring these characters to life!"

Marco DiGeorge, Theater On The Edge's Artistic Director, as well as co-Founder of Truthful Acting Studios, says, "It's always an amazing experience to be able to work with such a hard working team, striving to bring the depth needed for a story like this one."

Tickets on sale now at www.TheaterOnTheEdge.org and prices range from $18 to $26.
