Florida Studio Theatre Opens PERFECT WEDDING in the New Gompertz Tonight, 8/8

Perfect Wedding opens tonight, August 8 at Florida Studio Theatre by Robin Hawdon. Perfect Wedding is the third show of the summer season and also the opening show in The New Gompertz Theatre.

On the morning of his wedding, Bill wakes up in his honeymoon suite with a dreadful hangover and an unknown woman in his bed. It’s a race against time as he has to either get her out or make up a plausible story before his fiancée and future mother-in law arrive. Desperate times call for desperate measures in this hysterical romp of a love story gone wrong!

Director Bruce Jordan says “Perfect Wedding is the perfect summer entertainment—light, frothy, fast-paced and fun. The complications that arise in this play are equal parts hilarious and touching.” Jordan is a veteran at Florida Studio Theatre, where he has directed numerous productions including 2011’s Shear Madness. Jordan has also directed previous productions of Perfect Wedding at: Lake George Dinner Theatre and Geva Theatre Center, both located in New York.
