David Crosby And The Weight Band Head to King Center
Five decades after The Band released "Music From Big Pink," The Weight Band is harnessing the solemn fire and fury of that landmark, groundbreaking and epic album with a live show that is timeless. The Weight Band originated in 2013 inside the famed Woodstock, New York barn of Levon Helm. Leading the charge are guitarist and vocalist Jim Weider of The Band and Levon Helm Band, and keyboard player Brian Mitchell of the Levon Helm Band. The entire ensemble channels the spirit of The Band while showcasing the talent of musicians who have played with some of the biggest names in the music industry.
