The Orlando Philharmonic will perform its annual concert at the Springs Community in Longwood, featuring the music of the '70s pop sensation ABBA, on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 at 8 p.m. The concert is located at the Springs Community in Longwood on State Road 434, one mile west of I-4. Gates will open at 5 p.m.

The Orlando Philharmonic's outdoor concert at the Springs is a beloved tradition in the Central Florida community and continues to sell out each year. This year, Music Director Eric Jacobsen will lead the Philharmonic in the Springs concert.

Featured in this performance is world-class touring act Jeans n' Classics performing the works of Swedish singing sensation ABBA. With hundreds of millions of albums sold, ABBA is without a doubt one of the most successful groups in the history of popular music. The program will celebrate favorite tunes by Abba like "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," "Take A Chance On Me," "The Winner Takes It All" and "SOS." The concert is presented through the sponsorship of Certified Financial Group, an investment-manager and financial-planning firm headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

General Admission tickets start at $45 in advance and $50 at the door. VIP admission is $150 and includes VIP seating, catered buffet, complimentary wine/beer/soft drinks. With the ABBA Special Offer, general admission tickets are just $39 each when you buy 4 or more tickets by March 10. Artists

Jeans n' Classics was founded in 1996 under the musical direction of Peter Brennan, the band and singers of world class Canadian touring act Jeans 'n Classics faithfully interpret the music of legendary rock and pop albums and artists, with their own special and signature flair.

Katalin Kiss is known in the Canadian music industry for her staggering, tear-the-roof-off, goosebump-inducing vocals. In her travels she's worked with many legends: Del Shannon, Chubby Checker, Chuck Berry, and Chaka Khan.

A much-respected member of the Jeans 'n Classics family, Katalin lives in Picton, Ontario with her bassist husband and kids X3.

Andrea Koziol is a soul singer songwriter based in Toronto Canada. She is active on the folk/jazz festival circuit, and maintains a busy career as a studio vocalist, and voice over actor. Most recently she has found herself collaborating with a community of DJs, producers and beat based improvisers, that make music for adventurous souls who need to dance into the wee hours of the morning.

She has created 5 solo CDs to date, and is currently writing a 6th based on her fascination with vintage Elton John. She also continues to record and perform as a member of the folk/roots duo, Tarbelle (with guitar/banjo master Joel Schwartz) and the soul/electronica ensemble, Bartholomaus (with producer/bass guitar legend Ian de Souza).

Stephanie Martin is a bilingual Canadian songwriter, singer and actor who has performed all over the world in award-winning theatrical productions and concert tours.

In the theatre, she has played leading roles in LES MISERABLES, Napoleon, and Schwartz's The Musical, among others. In studio, she sang the voice of Pocahontas in the French version of the Disney movie, as well as performing on many cast albums. On the concert scene, she has performed with symphony orchestras across North America, Europe and Asia. She was the Voice Of God announcer at the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the Toronto 2015 Pan American and ParaPan American Games which were broadcast all over the world.

Lis Soderberg had a diverse career thus far including performances on symphony and rock stages, songwriting awards, commercial work (singing/narration/voiceover), singer-songwriter coffee house gigs, live-to-air broadcasts, and guest appearances and features on albums, film soundtracks, television and radio.

Songs from her 2010 solo alt/folk/pop CD, Refuge were recently used in four episodes of the acclaimed series Schitt's Creek (2015), starring Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara. Other songwriting credits include All I Need (co-wrote and vocal), which received a 2008 Billboard Song Contest award in the Jazz category and was the first track on a 2009 celebrity holiday compilation alongside tracks by Huey Lewis and the News, Richard Marx, Dennis DeYoung - and William Shatner!

You may also have heard Lis narrating the Air Canada in-flight safety video, and as voiceover and/or singer on many national radio and television commercials.

Conductor and cellist ERIC JACOBSEN has built a reputation for engaging audiences with innovative and collaborative projects. Following an international search, Eric Jacobsen was appointed Music Director of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in the 2015-2016 Season.

At the close of his successful debut season, Mr. Jacobsen had already started a new trend in programming and community engagement. A particularly well-received production of Mozart's The Magic Flute led to programming two operas, Candide and The Elixir of Love, in the 2016-17 Season with inventive directors Alison Moritz and Mary Birnbaum. Emanuel Ax and Steven Copes were guests at the start of this season based around Russian Masterworks and the celebration of American composer John Adams' 70th birthday.
