The married owners of a trendy Manhattan art gallery have their sophisticated home life upended when it's their turn to take in the wife's eccentric mother. When their best client, an elderly artist, hits it off with Mom, the comic sparks really begin to fly.

Bay Street regulars BrenDon Rogers and Adrian LePeltier, are joined on stage by veteran Central Florida actors Terry Hill, Sue Cohen and Barbara Lorio.   Rounding out the cast is Bay Street Players Artistic Director, David W. Clevinger in a rare onstage performance.

Clevinger, who also directed the play, will have the opportunity to perform on the realistic set he designed as well. A voguish apartment will transport the audience to the elegant lifestyle of the New York City couple. The set features the work of local artists Doug Hayes, Brenda Heim, Kace Montgomery, Polly Padolsky and a wood sculpture by the late renowned dancer, Ted Shawn.

Sponsored in part by Waterman Villages, "Social Security" opens April 20 and closes May 13. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening performances begin at 8:00 p.m. Sunday matinee performances begin at 2:00p.m.   Also, there is one Wednesday performance at 8:00p.m. on May 2, and one Saturday matinee performance on  May 12 at 2:00 p.m. Patrons attending the opening night production on April 20 are invited to a complimentary reception with the cast at Olivia's Coffeehouse & Bistro following the performance.
