The Joffrey Ballet Le Sacre du Printemps - The Rite of Spring at Orpheum Theatre

The company will perform The Rite of Spring, Age of Innocence and In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated during their Omaha performance. Inspired by the novels of Jane Austen, Age of Innocence explores the societal pressures endured by women of the Victorian era and is a testament to the strength of the human spirit. In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated features thrilling choreography driven by a thunderous electronic score. The athletic movements and speed with which the dancers move emphasize the long lines of the dancers’ bodies, as well as their technical ability.
