Bree O’Connor (Director/ Producer) is a writer/ director/ actor/ producer and the Artistic Director of Playful Substance. Some of Bree’s recent credits include Frank a play by Grant Harris, and Merchants by Raphael Perahia. Acting credits include roles in Still, Birth by Robyne Parrish and Coley Campany and in Joseph Scrimshaw’s choose-your-own-adventure-style comedy, Adventures in Mating. As a writer, Bree’s play SAHM’s Club won the Staff Favorite prize at the 2017 FRIGID Festival and her upcoming play Gee, I Hope You Have Fun at My Mom’s Death will debut in the spring of 2019. Grant Harris is a playwright living in Brooklyn, New York. His play Frank was produced by Playful Substance in the fall of 2016 and he's thrilled to be working with the company again on I Can Kiss Like Ted Bundy. Other recent work include a workshop of his play The Boy Finds Love at The Gilbert Theater in North Carolina and Billy Lemp Versus The Great I Am which was written and developed at The New Groups Playwrights Workshop.
