Hairspray returns to Theatre By The Sea for its 92nd season, bringing to life the delightful story of Tracy Turnblad, a plus-size teen who dreams of dancing on the popular Corny Collins Show in 1962 Baltimore. The production includes a talented cast featuring Niki Metcalf as Tracy and Marc Christopher as Edna Turnblad, both making their debuts at this venue. Directed and choreographed by Christopher Campbell, with musical direction by Nathan Urdangen, the show features hit songs like "You Can't Stop the Beat" and "Good Morning Baltimore." Hairspray runs from July 23 to August 16, 2025, and promises to deliver humor and positive messages in an energetic performance.
