A quartet of socially conscious, timely, and propulsive short plays presented in two acts. Featuring entirely unrepresented, non-union actors from across NYC and pieces from emerging playwrights (Dylan Gottlieb, Lindsey Walko, Katie Ryan, and Erica Smith), the First Flight Showcase touches on everything from wealth inequality to spirituality, immigration to modern feminism, activism to aliens. The festival will be hosted by Teatro LATEA—a gorgeous venue run by the Clemente Center.
