The Wild Project Presents SATURN, Now thru 9/9
Now playing at The Wild Project beginning tonight, August 30 and running through Sunday, September 9th, is SATURN (a play about food), written by Jeremy Pickard, directed by Sarah Hughes, with Tyler Caffall, Tom Coiner, Ava Eisenson and Maria Portman Kelly.
Jack and Rhea have inherited a farm. Newly 30 and newly wed, their rustic life is a welcome change—until a handful of mysterious seeds and a land full of extraordinary vegetables put the fate of The Farm and their marriage at stake. Riffing on the myth of Cronos, Jack and the Beanstalk and contemporary agricultural conundrums, SATURN (a play about food) is the fifth in a series of Planet Plays exploring the intersection between environmentalism and theater.
Performances are at The Wild Project (195 E. 3rd Street, between Avenues A & B). Tickets can be purchased from OvationTix on 212.352.3101 or online at www.wildproject.com Box Office opens one hour prior to curtain.
The Wild Project is a Production Company and venue for contemporary theater, film, and visual art. The Wild Project creates community by inspiring and entertaining art from emerging artists, exploring green technologies, and finding innovative ways to help our world and each other.
