By:

FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade will present a one night only performance of Vanessa Valerio's solo show Where in the World is Vanessa Valerio? on Saturday, April 29 at 8pm at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). Vanessa Valerio left the Dominican Republic running away from an old love and searching for a new one. During her journey she learns that life is not as easy as in the movies and that not everything that a fortuneteller tells you is true... but did she find what she was looking for?

VANESSA VALERIO (Writer/Performer) is an architect when the sun is out and a performer when the moon shines. She is a Moth StorySlam winner native from the Dominican Republic living in Brooklyn, NY. She performs stories about her time living in Europe, her childhood in the Caribbean, and her crazy life as a 30-something single woman in NYC. She is the host and producer of Singleling, a podcast where she talks to random people, comedians, storytellers and experts about love and dating. She also co-hosts Party of Two, a monthly live comedy show in New York City.

DAVID CRABB (Director) is a performer, writer, teacher & storyteller in Los Angeles. He is a Moth Story Slam host and winner. His solo show Bad Kid was met with critical acclaim (Advocate, Flavorpill, NYTheatre) and named a New York Times Critics' Pick. David was the co-creator/producer of the live storytelling series Ask Me, and he currently co-hosts the Los Angeles storytelling series Never Shut Up.

FRIGID NEW YORK @ HORSE TRADE is a theater development group with a focus on new work that produces a massive quantity of stimulating downtown theater every season. FRIGID's Resident Artist Program offers a home to a select group of Independent theater artists, pooling together a great deal of talent and energy.
