TIME IT IS: TO MUSIC is based on the 1999 hit off-off-Broadway play, TIME IT IS, by Lissa Moira.

Set in the drug and sex drenched New York East Village of 1982, TIME IT IS: TO MUSIC tells the story of Alizia, a talented young visual artist whose painting is bought by a famous movie star. Thrust into the national spotlight, Alizia must deal with her newfound fame, the men in her life, and a deeply painful secret.

With a varied and tuneful score by Michael Maricondi, poetic book by Lissa Moira, and featuring a strong, female lead, TIME IT IS: TO MUSIC promises to challenge viewers' conceits of "traditional" musical theatre and is certain to have something for everyone!
