IMPOSTER To Be Presented At The Flea Theater in NYC

The Liminal Theatre Collective (TLTC) continues its commitment to developing new works with Imposter, an ensemble-driven devised theatre experience emerging from the company's Liminal Labs series.

Grounded in TLTC's mission to develop and produce new works by artists of color while cultivating the next generation of diverse theatre artists, Imposter reflects the collective's dedication to storytelling that is both deeply personal and socially resonant.

Imposter explores the selves we construct to survive in spaces that were never built for us: the masks we wear, the names we soften, the histories we silence, the languages we lose, and the shame that teaches us to be smaller than we are. Developed through collaborative storytelling, movement, original music, and personal excavation, the piece asks a central question: when the mask you built to protect yourself becomes the only face anyone recognizes, who are you underneath?

Directed by TLTC Artistic Director and Broadway veteran Azudi Onyejekwe (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, Violet) and choreographed by Juliana Conte, Imposter is co-created by a dynamic ensemble of multidisciplinary artists and developed through Liminal Labs, TLTC's creative incubator for innovative new theatre from emerging artists of color.

The cast includes Sydney Carreon, Juliana Conte, Stella Diji, Jeremy Fuentes, Tariq Kateed, Kayla Sofía, and Vikas Venu.
