Holy Waters: A Mythical Lesbian Adventure will premiere this May at The Tank, produced by the Lesbian Artist Collective. The Lesbian Artist Collective exists to create space for lesbians to collaborate, socialize, and support each other.
Holy Waters is a devised piece that blends modern lesbian nightlife with fantastical mythology, following two friends, Lenny and Thea, on a journey to save a sacred lesbian island.
Conceived as an ensemble by Maggie Dunn, Skylar D'Andrea, Maura Pelczynski, Rocio Perez, Cheyenne Viera, Audrey Shoop, Sam Gordon, and Niqo Torrez, and written by Sam Gordon and Niqo Torrez, the work was developed through a collaborative process that centers shared authorship and embodied performance.
Performances will take place May 1 at 9:30 PM, May 2 at 9:30 PM, and May 3 at 7:00 PM at The Tank. Tickets are available at:
