HERE Arts Center Celebrates Grand Reopening With Gala 6/16
Honoring the past, savoring the present milestone moment, and looking toward a fantastically bright future, HERE Arts Center celebrates its Grand Reopening with a night of cocktails and hors d'oeuvres served under a tent outside the newly renovated venue.
Artistic Director/HERE Co-Founder Kristin Marting, HERE Producing Director Kim Whitener along with various HERE Supporter and acclaimed artists including Eve Ensler (The Vagina Monologues), Jessica Hecht, Justin Bond (Kiki & Herb: Alive on Broadway), Taylor Mac (The Young Ladies Of), Corey Dargel (Removable Parts), Aya Ogawa (oph3lia) Michael Cerveris and the stars of the upcoming Arias With a Twist, Joey Arias and Basil Twist.
The gala will take place on Monday, June 16 @ 6:30 PM at HERE Arts Center (145 Sixth Avenue)
In 2005, with the support of the City of New York, Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC), FJC (a donor-advised foundation) and countless individuals, HERE Arts Center purchased the space it has occupied since 1993.
