Alchemical Studios Issues Coronavirus Message And Policy

Alchemical Studios has taken some precautions to keep studios safe during this time of concern. Read their statement below:

"Dear Alchemical Artists,

We feel that it's important to respond to the current concerns about the Corona virus and public places.

Those of you who work regularly at Alchemical know how important it has always been to us to keep all Our Studios and common spaces and bathrooms very clean as a matter of general practice. We always felt that the artists who work at Alchemical deserve that respect.

And now, given the growing concern about safety and transmission, we have taken further steps to insure that Alchemical is as safe as possible for you to continue your work uninterrupted. We have placed hand sanitizers in every studio and in the common areas for your use. In addition to our regular cleaning protocols throughout our business hours we are adding the wiping down, with bleach wipes, of areas and objects that you may come in contact with. Those wipes will also be available to you as well if you want to use them yourselves.

We are given to understand that the best way to protect yourself is through personal attention and hygiene. So we encourage you to think also in those terms.

We also would like to point out that the Alchemical common areas are not usually very crowded like other rehearsal studios might be, and it's perhaps easier at Alchemical to avoid close personal contact with those around you.

I'm sure it's your experience, as it is for us, that different people are taking various views of the situation. In some way is almost as dangerous as talking about politics on FB to bring up the subject of the virus. Some people think the danger is very little and that with personal vigilance it is extremely unlikely to contract the virus. Others feel that their best course of action is to stay home and avoid all human contact, period. In any case, we will continue to keep our extra cleaning and bleach sanitizing protocol in practice until the virus concerns have disappeared.

Finally, we would like to ask that if you feel sick, or have any flu like symptoms, to please stay home until you are feeling better. We very much appreciate your cooperation in that regard.
