2 HOUSEHOLDS, 2 ASSHOLES: SHAKEPEARE'S R & J Debuts at FringeNYC, 8/11
Actors SAM MUÑOZ and AARON MUÑOZ are taking on twenty different characters in a new one-hour adaptation of the Bard's classic tragedy. 2 HOUSEHOLDS, 2 ASSHOLES: SHAKEPEARE'S R & J premieres at the SOHO PLAYHOUSE as part of the 2012 NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL FRINGE FESTIVAL (FringeNYC) on August 11th.
Sam Muñoz plays Romeo, the Nurse, Tybalt, Lady Capulet, Capulet (and others.) Notable roles for Aaron Muñoz include Juliet, Mercutio, Friar Lawrence, and Benvolio.
In addition to FringeNYC, 2 Households, 2 Assholes has been invited to be a part of FringeHIGH, a collection of boundary-stretching plays guaranteed to captivate and entertain NYC teens. The production is also partnering with HIGH FIVE TICKETS TO THE ARTS, offering reduced tickets to students.
Aaron Muñoz recently worked with Alan Rickman in the feature film CBGB and guest starred this past season on THE WALKING DEAD. Stage credits include Chicago and New York theatre, multiple shows at the Tony Award winning Actors Theatre of Louisville and numerous Shakespeare Festivals.
