The Dramatists Guild of America announces the tenth annual presentation by the Dramatists Guild Fellowship Program's participants on Monday, September 20, 2010, at 7 p.m. The evening will consist of 10-minute monologues, scenes and songs, written by the Guild Fellows. Refreshments will be served. There is no charge for the event, which will take place at Playwrights Horizons,
416 West 42nd Street.
The 2009-2010 Fellows are
Christopher Dimond, Katie Baldwin Eng, Holli Harms, Hannah Kohl,
Michael Kooman, Gordon Leary, Erica Lipez, Julia Meinwald, Edgar Mendoza,
Janine Nabers and Larry Pontius.
The
Dramatists Guild Fellowship Program is an outreach program supported by the Guild which helps to train emerging American dramatists and enhance the sense of community among them. The program is coordinated by
Dramatists Guild members
Lynn Ahrens,
Stephen Flaherty,
Susan Miller and Janet Neipris, and the program director is Andrea Lepcio. The program also receives support from the
Dramatists Guild Fund and the Matt and Josephine Grisham Foundation.
Since 2000, the Fellowship Program has provided mentoring and internship opportunities for emerging playwrights, composers and lyricists. Previous Fellows include
