The Dramatists Guild of America announces the tenth annual presentation by the Dramatists Guild Fellowship Program's participants on Monday, September 20, 2010, at 7 p.m. The evening will consist of 10-minute monologues, scenes and songs, written by the Guild Fellows. Refreshments will be served. There is no charge for the event, which will take place at Playwrights Horizons,
416 West 42nd Street.

The 2009-2010 Fellows are Christopher Dimond, Katie Baldwin Eng, Holli Harms, Hannah Kohl, Michael Kooman, Gordon Leary, Erica Lipez, Julia Meinwald, Edgar Mendoza, Janine Nabers and Larry Pontius.

The Dramatists Guild Fellowship Program is an outreach program supported by the Guild which helps to train emerging American dramatists and enhance the sense of community among them. The program is coordinated by Dramatists Guild members Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, Susan Miller and Janet Neipris, and the program director is Andrea Lepcio. The program also receives support from the Dramatists Guild Fund and the Matt and Josephine Grisham Foundation.

Since 2000, the Fellowship Program has provided mentoring and internship opportunities for emerging playwrights, composers and lyricists. Previous Fellows include Peter Mills (2008 Fred Ebb Award, 2010 Kleban Award); Sheri Wilner ("Bake Off," Heideman Award winner, 2001 Humana Festival); Jakob Holder ("Housebreaking" at Cherry Lane); Sammy Buck and Dan Acquisto (winner of first New Voice Award for "Like You Like It"); Rajiv Joseph (2008 Paula Vogel Playwriting Award, 2010 Pulitzer finalist); Deborah Zoe Laufer ("End Days" at EST, 2008 Steinberg/ATCA New Play finalist); Adam Gwon (2009 Fred Ebb Award, "Ordinary Days" at Roundabout); Andrea Lepcio ("Looking for the Pony" at McGinn/Cazale); Jeff Blumenkrantz (Broadway's "Urban Cowboy"); Neil Bartram (Broadway's "The Story of My Life") and Rachel Axler, staff writer and Emmy-award winner for Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart."
