Half Straddle, a New York based experimental theater company, follows up their critically-acclaimed show, FAMILY (A Top 10 of 2009 by Time Out New York), with Nurses in New England, an intimate, unexpected look at a coastal New England hospital run entirely by nurses, July 28 - 31, 7 p.m. presented by Soho Think Tank's Ice Factory 2010, at the Ohio Theatre 66 Wooster St. Tickets are $15 General Admission, $10 Students & Seniors. Nurses in New England is a musically-enhanced glimpse into an idiosyncratic coastal hospital where female nurses run surgeries, secret-smoke, and balance friendship, forgotten love, and conflicted ambition-with the daily stakes of life and death. A comedic and poignant look at the desire to make amazing miracles.

With an original live score by Chris Giarmo, soul-searing songs, and favorite downtown performers including Erin Markey, Jess Barbagallo, and Annie McNamara, among others, Nurses in New England is the latest piece from writer/director Tina Satter.

Nurses in New England was written and directed by Tina Satter.
