The American Shakespeare Center presents the comedy The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by José Zayas, at the Blackfriars Playhouse in Staunton, Virginia. This Oscar Wilde classic explores themes of mistaken identities and romantic entanglements as two young gentlemen, played by K.P. Powell and Britt Michael Gordon, adopt fictitious personas. Supporting performances include Summer England as Gwendolyn Fairfax and Angela Iannone as Lady Bracknell.
