The American Century Theater Announces Change in Production Lineup

The American Century Theater (TACT) wishes to announce a change in its scheduled production lineup for July/August 2014. In place of "The American Century Songbook," TACT is thrilled to welcome Helen Hayes Award-winner Brian Childers back to its stages for "An Evening with Danny Kaye." This production, to be performed as part of the Robert M. McElwaine Reflections series, pays tribute to one of Broadway and Hollywood's greatest showmen - Danny Kaye. Brian Childers becomes Danny Kaye in a way that lets a new generation discover - and an older generation re-visit - a unique performer.
"An Evening with Danny Kaye" will run from July 18 to August 16.
Brian performed in numerous incarnations of the story of Danny Kaye in Danny and Sylvia: A Musical Love Story, which was first performed at TACT and garnered Childers the Helen Hayes Award for Best Actor in a Musical.Information and tickets: americancentury.org or 703-998-4555
