MNM Productions Announces Auditions for
THE WORLD GOES ‘ROUND
A Musical Revue Showcasing the Songs of
Broadway Legends John Kander & Fred Ebb
May 2 in West Palm Beach
Delightful Musical Revue Will Run for 15 Performances at the Kravis Center’s Rinker Playhouse, August 4-21
Marcie Gorman-Althof and Michael Lifshitz, the producing partners behind MNM Productions, today announced that auditions will be held on Monday, May 2, for THE WORLD GOES ‘ROUND, a musical revue showcasing the music of legendary Broadway songwriters John Kander and Fred Ebb. Conceived by David Thompson, Scott Ellis and Susan Stroman, the show will run for 15 performances at the Kravis Center’s Rinker Playhouse in West Palm Beach, starting on Thursday, August 4, 2016.
This will be the fourth major production by MNM Productions, following A Chorus Line at Old School Square’s Crest Theatre, the Carbonell Award-nominated Side By Side By Sondheim and the upcoming production of the world’s favorite tribal rock musical HAIR, which will open May 20 at the Kravis Center’s Rinker Playhouse.
THE WORLD GOES ‘ROUND will be helmed by director Bruce Linser, with choreography by Kimberly Dawn (KD) Smith and Paul Reekie serving as musical director, the same role he played for both Side By Side By Sondheim and HAIR.
Both Equity and Non-Equity performers can audition.

Audition Requirements:
Anyone auditioning needs to come prepared with:
+ One minute cut of a Kander & Ebb song that shows personality, vocal and acting versatility, and your ability to tell a story and connect truthfully with a lyric. You may sing a song from the show.
+ Bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. No recorded accompaniment or a cappella singing.
+ Headshot and resume.
+ Equity Membership Card if applicable.
Roles:
+ Woman 1: 30s-40s, strong singer and storyteller, must be able to move very well and hold tight-harmony vocal part, versatile performer with great comic timing, proficient roller skater or willing to learn.
+ Woman 2: 20s-30s, strong singer and storyteller, must be a strong dancer and able to hold tight-harmony vocal part, versatile performer with great comic timing, proficient roller skater or willing to learn.
+ Woman 3: 30s-40s, strong singer and storyteller, must be able to move very well and hold tight-harmony vocal part, versatile performer with great comic timing, proficient roller skater or willing to learn.
+ Man 1: 20s-30s, strong singer and storyteller, must be a strong dancer and able to hold tight-harmony vocal part, versatile performer with great comic timing, proficient roller skater or willing to learn.
+ Man 2: 20s-40s, strong singer and storyteller, must be a strong dancer and able to hold tight-harmony vocal part, versatile performer with great comic timing, must have an excellent physique and be comfortable showing it off, proficient roller skater or willing to learn.
Notes:
+ MNM Productions seeks local Florida actors only and does not make casting decisions based on video submissions.
+ Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to audition.
+ While all performers will be paid, housing will not be provided for out-of-town performers.
+ Rehearsals will begin on July 12, 2016.
