Marvelous Wonderettes, Caps & Gowns Auditions at Chenango River Theatre

Chenango River Theatre will hold local auditions for the sequel to The Marvelous Wonderettes, which originally premiered at the theatre in 2010. Titled The Marvelous Wonderettes, Caps & Gowns, auditions will be held on April 21 at the theatre, by appointment only.

The show rehearses June 23 - July 9 and runs July 10 -August 3. Information on the show and the roles available is online at

Equity actors receive $261/wk per AEA contract. Non-Equity actors receive salaries ranging from $150 - $200/week. CRT is the only theatre in the Binghamton area able to offer Equity Membership Candidacy (EMC) for those interested in pursuing a professional career.

CRT is also looking for a local drummer and an electric guitar player to play for the show - musicians are compensated for their time.
