FIRST DATE - Jaeb Theater Non Equity Auditions

The Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, FL is holding an Open Call audition for the smash musical comedy FIRST DATE in New York City.

When? Monday, December 15th from 10 AM - 12 PM

Character Breakdown:
30s – Aaron (male lead); attractive, fit
30s – Casey (female lead); very attractive, fit
30s - Man #1 (Jewish Chorus / Gabe (BF of Aaron / YouTube guy / Edgy British Guy) – Quirky, but generally handsome.
30s – Man #2 (Reggie [gay best friend of Casey] / Aaron’s Future Son / Instagram guy / Edgy Rocker Guy); Attractive

Come prepared with the following: 1-minute comedic monologue; 16 bars of an up-tempo song; 16 bars of a ballad, accompanist will be provided. Please also be prepared to move and do cold-readings from the script.

Actors must be available for rehearsal, afternoons, evenings and weekends, beginning Jan 6.

First Date performance schedule: Feb 3 – Apr 19 / Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun @ 7:30p; Sat, Sun @ 2p
