As we wrap up a remarkable fourth season, the BPYO is looking forward to another year of impressive talent and leadership from the finest Boston-area musicians.

We are now scheduling auditions for the 2016-2017 season of the BostonPhilharmonic Youth Orchestra. Young musicians ages 12-21 are invited to audition. Auditions will take place in early May. Any remaining vacancies will be filled by fall auditions, but priority is given to those who audition in the spring.

Interested musicians are asked to prepare two contrasting pieces or movements of the highest level that showcase their musical and technical abilities, as well as designated orchestral excerpts. BPYO auditions will include an informal interview. Inquiries about auditions should be directed to the BPYO office,
