ASOLO REP 2015 FALL SEASON - Asolo Rep Theatre Non Equity Auditions

WHAT:
Asolo Repertory Theatre will host auditions for non-Equity ensemble roles for its upcoming Fall 2015 Musical on Wednesday, March 4, with callbacks the week of March 9.

The theatre is seeking a wide range of dancer-singer-actors of all ethnicities for a variety of roles. Must be, or be able to play, ages 17-25. Youthful look and high energy a plus.Strong dance training/background a must.

Auditioners will be asked to perform a 1-2 minute monologue, and to sing 16 bars of a song of their choosing, preferably in a musical theatre, pop/rock, or gospel style. Auditioners will also learn a brief dance routine with a choreographer.

Rehearsals begin mid-October 2015. The production runs November 10 – December 27, 2015.

WHEN:
Wednesday, March 4 from 4 to 7:30pm [vocal/acting auditions from 4 to 5:30; dance auditions from 6 to 7:30pm – auditioners are asked to participate in both]

Please bring 2 copies of picture and résumé, glued or stapled together. An accompanist will be provided, but auditioners are asked to bring their own clearly marked sheet music. Please also bring comfortable dance clothes.
