A Music Box Christmas: Starlight at Hersheypark - Hersheypark/RWS Entertainment Group
RWS Entertainment Group, in conjunction with Hershey Entertainment, will be creating an original musical production to be presented at Hersheypark Christmas Candylane this holiday season.
A Music Box Christmas: Starlight (working title) in Hersheypark's Music Box Theatre (Hershey, PA). $525/week minimum. Non-Union. Lodging provided. Rehearsals begin October 26, 2017 and shows run November 10, 2017 through January 1, 2018. Chip Abbott, director/choreographer.
Open Call for Dancers will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2016 at 10am (Male and Female Dancers) at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue, 4th Floor, NYC.
Seeking:
Non-Union dancers for ensemble roles, 18 and over, with dynamic personalities, who are comfortable with various styles and are able to entertain by connecting with an audience. Theme Park and Cruise Ship credits are a plus.
Featured Ensemble: Females (5’2” to 5’8”) and Males (5’8” to 6’2”). Strong dancers with excellent physiques and lots of character. Must be proficient in ballet, musical theatre jazz and tap. Ballroom and partnering experience a plus.
SANTA: One male ensemble member to play Santa at certain points in the show. 5’10" and up. Ability to lip sync and act.
Preparation:
A brief dance combination will be taught. Please wear form-fitting dance attire. Women bring heels and flats. All bring tap shoes. All bring headshot and resume stapled together. Dancers are not required to sing.
