Seeking:
Non-Union performers for principal roles, 18 and over, with dynamic personalities, who are comfortable with various music/vocal/dance styles and are able to entertain by connecting with an audience. Theme Park and Cruise Ship credits are a plus.
JACK FROST: Male, Early 20's. A hopeful soul who has lost his Holiday Spirit and is no longer able to create his signature snow. Strong singer, actor, and mover. Youthful Tenor.Â
Â
STARLIGHT: Female, Early to Late 20's. A feisty, upbeat Fairy who lives her life spreading the joy and spirit of the Holiday Season. She is Santa's best friend and always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Strong singer and actress. Power belt/mix with soul and heart.
Â
LOLLI: Female, Early to Late 20's. An overworked, exhausted, and at times grumpy Candy Maker. She has lost her ability to create Christmas Treats and likes to offer a snide comment against her better judgement. Strong singer, mover, and comedic actress. Character belt.Â
Â
HANS: Male, 20's to Early 30's. A Nutcracker with a nut allergy. He is upset that he's not wanted for Christmas and hides away afraid to make new friends. Sweet and bashful energy despite his commanding & militaristic presence.   Strong singer and actor. Bari-Tenor.Â
Preparation:
Prepare 16 bars of an uptempo pop/rock or contemporary music theatre song showing range and personality. Have a musical theatre ballad ready in case asked for a second selection. Bring sheet music; accompanist will be provided. Bring headshot and resume stapled together. Movement callbacks will be held in the afternoon on the same day; bring dance clothes/shoes.
