Join us on the Le Petit stage for a panel discussion with playwright and author Justin Maxwell to celebrate the release of his new book The Playwright's Toolbox, a stimulating and wide-ranging resource for both beginning and experienced dramatists. Artistic Director A.J. Allegra will host a conversation with Justin and additional panelists Nick Slie of Mondo Bizarro and Denise Frazier of Goat in the Road Productions. They will be discussing the challenges of generating new work in our modern theatre landscape, with a particular focus on developing new work in New Orleans and the Gulf South region. Copies of The Playwright's Toolbox will be on hand for attendees to purchase and to have signed by Mr. Maxwell. The event is presented free of charge, but tickets are required.
