Misery Book by William Goldman Based on the novel by Stephen King Rated R Join Theatre Baton Rouge in their production of Stephen King’s classic novel. Writer Paul Sheldon has found fame and fortune with his Misery series of romance novels but now he wants to write a “serious” book. Annie Wilkes has read and re-read every one of his Misery books and takes them very, very seriously. A “mother of a blizzard” unexpectedly lands Paul in Annie’s home, where he comes face to face with his “Number One Fan” and where he’ll write his own fate and the true fate of Misery.
