Audience favorite Hubbard Street (HSDC) brings Fosse fun to New Orleans with two works by the legendary choreographer—Sweet Gwen Suite and Percussion IV. Through a partnership with The Verdon Fosse Legacy, Hubbard Street is the only authorized dance company in the world to include Bob Fosse works in their repertoire. Alvin Ailey’s Matthew Rushing and HSDC resident choreographer Aszure Barton round out this historic program with powerful, masterpiece works. “Hubbard Street Dance Chicago ought to bottle itself as a cure for the ills of the era” (The New York Times) with “dancing so sublime it is close to hypnotizing” (Chicago Sun-Times).
