Playmakers of Baton Rouge will close its successful and popular production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe April 18th at Manship Theatre at the Shaw Center for the Arts. The production stars Cristin Thomas and JP Delahoussaye. Both actors are from the 2005 production and are reviving their roles for the Baton Rouge stage.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is an adaptation of the C.S. Lewis classic in which all the roles are done by the two professional actors. It was adapted for the stage by
le Clanche du Rand and was toured by the Lincoln Center. It is a heroic tale of love, faith, courage and giving. The play also explores the life and death struggle of Narnia and the triumph of good over evil. This story has enthralled audiences of all ages. It is appropriate for ages 4 and up.
