This season reflects the company's commitment to pairing canonical works with vital, contemporary voices-creating space for both technical rigor and emotional immediacy.

Expanded Quarterly Programming

In addition to its mainstage productions, Season 5 will include a slate of quarterly programming designed to foster experimentation and community engagement:

  • The Squirrel and the Squire - a choose-your-own-adventure comedy series

  • The Greenhouse - a new works series

These initiatives reinforce Fat Squirrel's emphasis on process-driven work and interdisciplinary collaboration across artistic mediums.

Artist Development & Community Investment

Fat Squirrel continues to prioritize artist training and accessibility through its practicum model, offering hands-on experience in performance, design, and production.

The company is currently accepting applications for its 2026 Emerging Directors Program through May 4, further investing in the next generation of theatre-makers.
