Registration for JPAS Conservatory's Summer Program Opens Today

The Jefferson Performing Arts Society Conservatory for the Performing Arts announces its registration date for their summer program for high schoolers interested in the performing arts.

Registration will begin at 10:00am today, April 11, 2014 at the JPAS Administrative Office 1118 Clearview Pkwy. In Metairie.

The Conservatory program will run from June 9-28, 2014 from 9:00am-3:30pm at the JPAS Conservatory at 5005 Bloomfield St in Elmwood (next to Party Planet Extreme).

The JPAS Conservatory for the Performing Arts is in its 2nd year. It focuses on providing students in grades 8-12 the opportunity to enhance their skills and work with industry professionals in the area of Acting, Voice, Dancing, Improvisation, Stage Combat, Auditioning, and much more. Students take core curriculum classes throughout the day and each afternoon attend rehearsal for their Showcase Performance that will be presented June 28 at the conclusion of the program.
