State Theatre New Jersey presents Itzhak Perlman in Recital as part of its Classical Season Celebration on February 24, 2024. The program featuring Itzhak Perlman includes Handel's Violin Sonata in E Major, Op. 1, No. 15; Beethoven, Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 9 in A Major, Op. 47 'Kreutzer'; and Schumann, Fantasiestücke, Op. 73. For this performance Perlman will be joined by pianist Rohan De Silva.
The New Jersey Symphony presents two world premiere commissions in June: Chen Yi's Landscape Impression, inspired by two ancient Chinese poems, and Farah (Joy) for Voice and Orchestra by Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR), the Symphony's Resident Artistic Catalyst.

All tickets are on sale now for the New Jersey Symphony's landmark centennial season, led by Music Director Xian Zhang. Patrons can purchase tickets for individual concerts and can save through subscriptions and Compose Your Own series packages of three or more mainstage concerts.
The New Jersey Symphony presents four weeks of classical subscription concerts through mid-March, featuring Grammy winner Daniil Trifonov performing Mason Bates' new piano concerto, Karen Gomyo performing Mozart's Third Violin Concerto, Eric Wyrick and Juan Pablo Jofre performing Jofre's Double Concerto for Violin and Bandoneon, Bart Feller performing Nielsen's Flute Concerto and Jonathan Spitz performing Saint-Saëns' First Cello Concerto.

Classical highlights include a Winter Festival featuring works by Gershwin and other luminary composers who blend classical and popular traditions; performances of commissions from Tyshawn Sorey, Thomas Adès and a quartet of jazz composers; a continuing celebration of Beethoven's 250th birthday; return engagements by violin superstars Joshua Bell and Jennifer Koh and solo performances by multiple NJSO musicians.
