After escaping the tower, where he has been held captive by the overbearing archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, Quasimodo finds himself treated cruelly by everyone but the beautiful and enchanting gypsy Esmeralda. Alas, he is not her only admirer. Competing with Frollo and the handsome Captain Phoebus, Quasimodo finds himself in a battle with Frollo to save the gypsies. Will he rescue his beloved Esmeralda?
