Sept 16: Organist Christopher Houlihan in Newark at Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart

On Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 4:00 pm the acclaimed organist Christopher Houlihan performs a solo recital at Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart (89 Ridge Street, Newark NJ 07104). The performance marks the opening concert of the 50th season of Cathedral Basilica's Concert Series. The program includes music by J.S. Bach, Robert Schumann, Louis Vierne, and more. Critics have applauded Christopher Houlihan for his "world class chops" and "marvelous ear"; The Los Angeles Times proclaimed him dazzling and seductive. Houlihan's Disney Hall debut, performing with principal brass of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, resulted in The LA Times raving, "Houlihan is the next big organ talent."
