Musical Theater Master Class with Danielle Ferland at Black Box PAC

Englewoods Black Box Performing Arts Center is pleased to partner with Actress Danielle Ferland for a Musical Theatre Master Class! Ms. Ferland has been acting professionally since age 10. She was in the Original Broadway Cast of Sunday in the Park with George and Into the Woods (Little Red), both by the late Stephen Sondheim. Other credits include All My Sons (Broadway), Tartuffe (The Public Theatre), and work in regional theaters around the country including Long Wharf (New Haven Connecticut), Baltimore Center Stage, the Huntington (Boston), and The Old Globe (San Diego). Film/tv credits include Radio Days, Mighty Aphrodite, Blue Bloods (CBS), Orange is the New Black (Netflix), and the major motion picture Tick Tick Boom (directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda) in theaters and on Netflix.In addition to performing, Ms. Ferland also has extensive teaching experience. She has worked extensively at Boston Childrens as a teacher, and has taught Master classes at high schools, colleges and theater programs throughout the northeast. She is currently a member of Midtown Direct Theater Company and is directing and teaching in her own community of South Orange/Maplewood.Ms. Ferland will be at Black Box PAC on Sunday January 23 from 11am to 2pm.
