Come From Away tells the true story of how the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, became an unexpected haven for thousands of airline passengers stranded on September 11, 2001. With an engaging book, music, and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, the musical portrays the local residents who opened their homes and hearts to these travelers, overcoming cultural differences with warmth and humor. This inspiring production invites audiences to celebrate the spirit of community and humanity during a time of crisis. The show is part of the 2025/2026 season at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.
