Béla Fleck and The Flecktones at State Theatre New Jersey

Bla Fleck and the Flecktones will celebrate their 30th anniversary with its original lineup, featuring banjoist, composer, and bandleader Bla Fleck; pianist and harmonica player Howard Levy; percussionist/drumitarist FutureMan; and bassist Victor Wooten. The Grammy Award-winning quartet will perform songs from their album Rocket Science, as well as fan favorites. While all manners of genres come into playfrom classical and jazz to bluegrass and African music to electric blues and Eastern European folk dancesthe result is an impossible to pigeonhole sound all their own, a meeting of musical minds that remains, as ever, utterly indescribable. Simply put, it is The Flecktones, the music produced only when these four individuals come together.
