bergenPAC's 8th Annual Gala Will Feature Barry Manilow

Bergen Performing Arts Center will celebrate the 8^th Annual Gala with musical icon Barry Manilow. Chairman, Edmondo Schwartz said, "We are honored and excited that Barry Manilow will be performing at our gala this year. Support for 2013 Gala is invaluable, as funds raised will benefit the planned renovations of the newly acquired home of The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC at 1 Depot Square." The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC will now reside in a new building, with classes offered in theater, music, and dance. The Performing Arts School provides top quality performing arts instruction to families and children that stimulates learning and sparks creativity and imagination.

The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC features a series of classes, school residencies, workshops, live performances, student productions and ensemble groups in the performing arts for all children, from 2 months to 21 years old. bergenPAC's Arts Education and Community Outreach programs have reached more than 50,000 students annually since its inception. The renovations are critical to the growth of the school, as it continues to expand programming and offer state of the art facilities to those enrolled. The Performing Arts School aims to create a learning environment that enriches all levels of talent while cultivating the excitement and creativity inherent in the arts for all participating.

This year's Gala is graciously sponsored by Benzel Busch and will take place in the new Performing Arts School at 1 Depot Square at 5:00 PM and will include an elaborate cocktail reception and dinner, exclusive VIP seating, and post-show champagne and desserts.
