The Ritz Theatre Company Brings SCROOGE to the Main Stage Image

The Ritz Theatre Co. is once again proud to announce the presentation of the annual holiday classic Scrooge!

Opening on Friday December 7, running through Sunday, December 23.

This show is a tradition for families across the region, and is fun for all ages!

Led by Producing Artistic Director Bruce A. Curless, Bruce plays the role of the title character of Ebenezer Scrooge. This will be the twenty-third year that Bruce dons the wool cap and is chased through visions of his life by three famous ghosts!

Bruce's masterful portrayal of Scrooge is filled with the perfect combination of authentic emotion and pure showmanship. As the holiday season closes this year, Bruce will have performed the role for nearly 250 performances!

"I look forward to bringing Scrooge to our audiences, and I'm grateful to all of the families who make our performances part of their annual holiday tradition," says Bruce. "I find that performing in this classic show continues to be every bit as rewarding today as it was in my very first year, I just need to wear less make-up!

But for a number of reasons this will be my final year in the role, so please come out and joins in!

And this year as our Holiday gift to our patrons, two of our opening weekend shows will be 'Pay what you can,' Opening Night Friday December 7th, 7:30 pm, and Sunday December 9th, 2:00pm. $5 minimum."
