TTC Gives Back To Youths With YOUTH CABARET WORKSHOP & PERFORMANCE
The Theater Company of Hoboken (TTC) is thrilled to be able to give back to the community to seven local youths who auditioned for the YOUTH CABARET WORKSHOP & PERFORMANCE.
According to Producing Artistic Director David Zimmerman, "thanks to January's fundraiser BACK TO BROADWAY, we can afford to produce YOUTH CABARET without a charge to the participants - which is not only a wonderful learning opportunity for them, but a great way for us to give back to the community "
After auditioning to be accepted into the Workshop a few weeks ago, Stella Borelli, Sylvie Foligno and Zoe Mattessich from Hoboken; Ben Dellabella from Bayonne; and Emory Kemph, Lauren Kennedy and Peyton Kennedy from Weehawken have been working diligently with TTC's
Assistant Artistic Director Margaret Leone and David Zimmerman on honing their craft. The end product will be a staged show presenting songs with live accompaniment (over an hour of music) on March 25th at 8pm. "You will be amazed at the talent of these seven young performers!" enthuses Zimmerman.
"It is rare for children to be exposed to the style of Cabaret so early," notes Leone, "so this will truly be a great introduction for them as well as a stepping point for tomorrow's Cabaret stars."
