Smiling Rhino Theatre Hosts First Annual Talent Show; Auditions 7/13-14, 7/20-21

Smiling Rhino Theatre, located at 247 Wanaque Avenue in Pompton Lakes, is pleased and proud to host its first annual TALENT SHOW! This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who has ever had the desire to perform! Any and all acts are encouraged, from singers, to dancers to comedy, to juggling, whatever!! There will be two separate events, one for children/teens and the other for adults! There will be a panel of professional judges and a fabulous prize to the winner of each show. Smiling Rhino Theatre is also happy to announce that invitations are being sent to casting agencies and managers as well. The best part is that the top winners will be featured in a show of their own, to be presented at Smiling Rhino Theatre. This show will be open to the public and promoted as part of SRT'S season, to all of their very loyal audience members!!

Auditions for kids/teens will be Monday or Tuesday, July 13th and 14th, from 7:00-9:00. Talent show for that age group is Saturday, July 18pm at 8PM. Auditions for adults, 18 and over will be Monday or Tuesday, July 20th and 21st, from 7:00-9:00. Talent show for the adults will be Saturday, July 25th at 8:00PM. The entrance fee is $50 which needs to be brought by each participant to the auditions. Top winner performance date to be determined. There will be two to three rehearsals for each cast which are mandatory. You will need to provide all necessary costumes and props for your act. Please be prepared to perform your entire act at the audition. Each performer will be limited to one act only. Call the theatre at 973-248-9491 for more information.
