Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Announces June Shows

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents AMADEUS by Peter Shaffer and directed by Joe Discher May 28 through June 22, 2008.
From the author of Equus, a thrilling tale of the young and brilliant Mozart and the fanatic malcontent Salieri who plots to ruin his career and smother his genius. Featuring Broadway veteran Robert Cuccioli as Salieri. Venue: F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue at Lancaster Rd. in Madison (on the campus of Drew University)Performances are Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7:30 pm; Thursdays thru Saturdays at 8 pm; Sundays at 7 pm; Saturday and Sundays at 2 pm. This and a multitude of other side-splitting Shakespeare "riffs" will leave audience members of all ages rolling in the aisles and tapping their toes in rhythm to the percussive "music" of iambic pentameter as three wild and crazy actors take audiences on a rollercoaster ride through the Bard's canon.
