Playwrights Theatre Presents ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, 7/31-8/2
The Madison Recreation Department and Playwrights Theatre present ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, A Musical, Book and Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, Music by Stephen Flaherty (based Upon The Novel "My Love, My Love" By Rosa Guy).
The production (appropriate for all ages) will have three performances: July 31 and August 1 at 7:30pm and August 2 at 2:00pm. The production will be directed by Brian Lang. The cast features youth performers: Aileen Bergin, Lily Bias, Luke Bias, Carolyn Bishop, Danielle Cenicola, Rachel Cenicola, Erin Colligan, Loren Donnelly, Elise Hart, Fiona Hart, Jenna Katz, Sarah Lepre, Athena Macagnano, Meaghan Macagnano, Tabitha Macagnano, Olivia Matos, Sophia Matos, Natalie Mauro, Camille Miller, Maggie Murad, Grace Randall, Alexa Ruina, Emily Ruina, Erin Salko, Maggie Salko, Megan Tierney. Single tickets are on sale now $10 for adults and $5 for students/child. For tickets, call the box office at 973-514-1787 X31 or online at www.ptnj.org. There will no charge for Senior Citizens who should call the Senior Center at 973-593-3095 to secure their tickets. Performances will take place at Madison High School, 170 Ridgedale Avenue in Madison, NJ.ONCE ON THIS ISLAND is the fourth co-production between The Madison Recreation Department and Playwrights Theatre, which has been located in Madison for 28 years. The production is also supported by the Borough of Madison's Jim Burnet, and Director of Recreation, Zach Ellis, and the Madison Board of Education provides significant support in permitting the use of the High School Auditorium facilities.
