The singer, whose illustrious career spans over 60 years, has penned some of the most recognizable songs in history, including "She's a Lady," "My Way," and "This is It."

His days as a teen idol and hit songwriter for the likes of Frank Sinatra and Tom Jones skyrocketed him to fame but his talent and dedication to his craft have made Paul Anka an impressive force in the music industry.

Since inception of his career, Mr. Anka's songs have been performed well over 100 million times collectively worldwide. His LP and single sales collectively number more than 90 million. With well over 500 songs to his credit, Mr. Anka's most memorable are "Put Your Head On My Shoulder," "My Way," and the famous theme from "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson." He has recorded over 126 albums worldwide.

Mr. Anka has been named the 21st most successful artist in Billboard's history, putting him alongside music greats Elvis Presley and the Beatles. Hi album "Duets" debuted #95 on US Billboard Top 200 Chart and #89 on the Top Current Albums Chart. Paul Anka is the only artist in history to have a song in the Billboard Top 100 during 7 consecutive decades.

The rapid and enormous success of "Diana", his first number one hit, made him a star at the young age of 15. Anka was the youngest entertainer to ever perform at the Copa Cabana. He honed his craft surrounded by the likes of Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Frankie Lyman, and Chuck Berry.

He wrote for Buddy Holly and Connie Francis and became a mascot and a junior associate of Sinatra and the Rat Pack. His albums have featured Frank Sinatra, Celine Dion, Tom Jones, Michael Jackson, Michael Bublé and daughter Anthea Anka. Plus, it was revealed upon its release in 2009, that Anka co-wrote Michael Jackson's posthumous #1 worldwide hit, "This Is It," which has further cemented his place upon the most prolific and versatile songwriters of any generation.
