The Ultimate Philadelphia Saturday Night Dance Party, featuring Gloria Gaynor and Village People, is coming to the Keswick Theatre on January 15th.

Disco diva Gloria Gaynor is best known for her female empowerment anthem, "I Will Survive", which hit #1 on the Billboard Charts in 1979.  However, her first real success came four years earlier with the release of the album, "Never Can Say Goodbye". This album established Gaynor as a disco artist with the single of the same name, a dance remake of the earlier Jackson 5 hit, reaching #1 on the U.S. dance charts.  Over the years, she has had several top tens on the dance charts including three more number ones, "Casanova Brown", "Just Keep Thinking About You" and "I Never Knew".
The one-of-a kind Village People are well known for their costumes depicting American cultural stereotypes, as well as their catchy tunes and suggestive lyrics. Selling more than 100 million records, with hits like "San Francisco/In Hollywood", "Macho Man", "YMCA", "In the Navy" and "Go West", the Village People became an instant phenomenon in the late 1970s.
