Luna Stage is proud to present the New Jersey Professional Premiere of the International hit musical Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story by Stephen Dolginoff. Thrill Me opens to previews on Thursday, December 3rd and runs Thursdays through Sundays through December 20th. Opening night is Saturday, December 5th. Performances on December 6th and 17th are followed by Talkbacks with the Creative Team. Tickets range from $27-$37 dollars. Relationships can be murder. Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story is an intimate two-character musical drama that recounts the chilling true story of the legendary duo who committed one of the most infamous crimes of the twentieth century.

A Drama Desk nominee for Best Musical, Thrill Me has been translated into 10 languages and has had over 100 productions in 15 countries. Notable stagings include Los Angeles, Chicago, London's West End and current long-running versions all across Asia. The Luna Stage production will be the New Jersey Professional Premiere and the first time the acclaimed musical has been produced professionally in the New York region since its Off-Broadway premiere in 2005.

The Luna Stage production features a two actors making their Luna Stage debuts, Joseph Bigelow and Dean Linnard. The production is directed by Luna Stage Artistic Director Cheryl Katz with Musical Direction by Andy Peterson.

Stephen Dolginoff (Book, Music & Lyrics) is an award-winning, New York City based, playwright/composer. He received Drama Desk Award nominations for Best Musical & Best Music; an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for Best Off-Broadway musical; and won an ASCAP Music Award for Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story. His musicals are published by Dramatists Play Service and Samuel French. Stephen received a BFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU/Tisch School of the Arts.


Director Cheryl Katz has been with Luna Stage since 2003. She served as Director of Play Development for eight years before becoming Associate Artistic Director in 2011. She was appointed Artistic Director in 2013. During her time at Luna, she has contributed to the development of over fifty new works for the stage. Cheryl is also a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

Andy Peterson, musical direction, is currently a New York based composer, musical director, arranger and orchestrator. He holds a Bachelor of Music (Composition) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where he studied under great Australian composers and musicians. Andy has worked internationally in four countries.

Making his Luna Stage debut, Joseph Bigelow has performed at The Guthrie Theater, New York City Center, Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, and Black Dirt Theater. Dean Linnard, also making his Luna Stage debut, has performed at Portland Playhouse, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey - Shakespeare Live!, New Orleans Fringe Festival, and has toured with Theatreworks USA.
