HEAR MY SONG: A MUSICAL REVUE Will Come to the Bell Theater

The Axelrod Performing Arts Academy is set to produce and present Hear My Song: A Musical Revue at Bell Theater. A one night only event that will showcase a handful of students that are part of APAA's musical theatre ensemble. This cast of 18 performers ranges from the ages of 12-16.

Hear My Song: A Musical Revue will feature songs from both Off-Broadway and Broadway. Originally written and conceived to be a virtual production to be produced by Theatre@Home, under the artistic direction and leadership of Justin Christopher Odon and Cassandra Jones during the 2020 shutdown, will now be produced live by the Axelrod Performing Arts Academy.

"This production will showcase the heart and home we have here at APAA with this group of young powerhouse artists who continue to grow and strengthen their performance abilities right here in this academy," says director of Hear My Song, Justin Christopher Odon. Hear My Song features moments for each cast member to shine and show who they are and what they are proud of. "Every time I'm in the studio, I leave so happy. They're all really supportive of each other," Director of the Axelrod Performing Arts Academy and producer of Hear My Song, Mary-Kate Schmidt.

The cast includes Adriella Ann Goncalves, Charlie Costa, Chloe Carone, Darren Freeman, Jordan Fournier, Joseph Campasano, Julia McPherson, Kate Pontoriero, Mariele Trombino, Nadia Rose Konozenko, Noelle Schaneman, Olive Sperber, Paige Della Universita, Reese Corrigan, Siena DeFilippis, Skylar Tait, Sophia Jadach, & Valerie Beatty. Under the direction and music direction of Justin Christopher Odon.

The performance will take place on May 27 at the Bell Theater, inside Bell Works, located at 101 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel, NJ. Tickets information can be found at the Axelrod Performing Arts Academy website.
